Could be late pattern Luftwaffe issue (with post war addition of Heer insignia).

                        Hi,
Is this from Simons site ?if so the eagle and other badge is original to the tunic ,the boards were added,as I know this tunic well.

Hi Mark, I'm not familiar with Simon, but the current location is the Veteran's Footlocker - same thing?

                          Regards, Paul

                            Summer weight Tunic WH

I've never cared for chevrons on both side of the fabric. None of my lightweight tunic have it. This subject has been mentioned on the forum a few years ago. Also regarding the lining, that rayon looks non period. Do a macro lens enlargement of the fibers and I am positive the fibers will prove not to be viscose rayon but modern polyester. These tunics were made of wood pulp, nettle.

I believe the tunic is original, but as I said before, I also believe it to be a late pattern LUFTWAFFE HBT tunic with blue satin lining and LW belt hooks. Sorry.
