            Juan,

It is hard to tell from these pics what kind of tunic we're actually dealing with. I know it is supposed to be a Luftwaffe tropical tunic, but I do not see the hems for the false French cuffs, the bottom outside edges of the breast pockets are not angled like they should be, and it lacks the normal stitch lines you see when a partial lining is installed. The close-up of the shoulder strap does indicate the basic cloth of the tunic itself looks OK.

The wear around the neck looks good though and the tabs appear to show wear consistent with the rest of the tunic.

Unlike the Army's tropical tunics, Luft trops were not meant to be worn with collar tabs or collar tresse. This doesn't mean it wasn't done though.

I suggest you start a Thread on this tunic in the Luftwaffe Flying Corps: Uniforms, Traditions, & Equipment Forum or the Fallschirmjager Forum.

            Good luck with it.

            vr

            Bob

Just from seeing the inner stitching of the eagle I am betting it is replaced post war and perhaps not even genuine. We will see.

I'm not sure what type of tunic this is suppose to represent but it is certainly not a German made issue tunic. At best it is theater made but it think it is an early reenactors tunic. I wouldn't want that tunic in my collection.
