    Shoulder board help needed...

    Hi guys.
Here's a group of shoulder boards that I need to pick your brains about.
Any info, comments and or relative values would be appreciated.
These are part of a group of items that I will be selling at the SOS to the benefit of the vet's estate.
    Please be honest and fair.
    Thanks.
    Tony

I'm stumped by these also as I'm not a uniform guy.
Are the black based major's set Waffen SS?
What are the boards on the right also.
        Thanks.

The shoulder strap with the metal Latin E is for a Heer specialist officer of the Railway engineering service. I have a single like this in my collection.

              Whereas the piping does appear to be GREY, more than likely it's LIGHT BLUE;
color has been absorbed by the wool piping, resulting in the gray color.
I have had several similar straps in the past, even one with a chainstitched #6.
They were all M36 (dark green) with wool piping.
Also, the Grey Waffenfarbe for Propaganda was not adopted until January 1943,
a time when M40 field gray straps were in use.
Propaganda Straps are quite rare, especially for EM & NCO ranks.
I have an NCO example as does Schulterklappen.

I also like that Sonderfuhrer board it is very rare.

The black based boards are either Heer Major Pioneer boards. The boards to the immediate right of these with the 2 slip knots are Luftwaffe Sonderfuhrer. Hard to come by. Diane or Paul R can tell you more about them since it is not really my area of study.

Thanks all for the great info.
Can anyone give me some realistic asking prices on these?
Just trying to get organised for the SOS.

A fair price for the group would be $500.
None of the pieces are rare or very desirable (IMO)
If you sold them individually, you may get more,
but it might take some time.
