HBT signals tunic question

I have a HBT signals tunic (yellow piping on shoulders board). It has one chevron on the sleeve.

My question is would a signals troop also have a signals trade qualification patch on the uniform and if so what colour? Yellow for signals or infantry?

I know other branches of the service wore the signals qualification trade patch but unsure if signals trade troops themselves wore them.

Signal troops were not authorized to wear the signal qualifications patch, Signal Blitz.
