Pioneer assault pouches in wear

I asked this in the equipment section but got no replies so figured I'd try here.

Can anyone tell me if pioneer NCO ranks were issued and wore the assault pouches or were they only worn by EM personnel?

I have only found limited period photos of these in wear but cannot clearly see what ranks had used these.

Does anyone know of a period photo which clearly shows an NCO wearing these pouches?

I only have seen EM equipped with the engineer assault pouches. The pouches weren´t a general item for engineers, only a few were handed out to the sections. I don´t think that NCO took them, they had other tasks than using the explosives. They had to cammand and to lead, not to place explosives.

Of course maybe a NCO could have use them, but I am in doubt.
