    Did officers wear M40 feldbluse?

And were the shoulder boards always sewn into the shoulder seams?

        Hi,

This is my Infanterie Oberleutnant tunic, which has sewn-in boards. However, because these adaptations of enlisted mens' tunics were done by tailors or sometimes in the field, the surviving examples show a range of insignia and application methods.

        All the best,

        Mark

Mark K, That is a beautiful Infantry Reg 88 tunic you have. I love the eagle with the "hump" on the top edge.

I believe the question was whether officers wore the m-40 ( with field gray collar), which they certainly did and whether (some) of these officers wore slip on straps, which some did.
