Oberschutze Pips

Hello all!

Can you help me find out more about these pips? I know Oberschütze was not a high rank and some people don't find the insignia that exciting, but I think it looks smart.

The first one is black wool (Panzer?), the next three seem to be "tropical", 2 in HBT, the first on the second row is a very dark green wool, the next three are green-grey HBT (one maker marked F&G), and the remaining 4 are green-grey coarser wool. Some have signs of being attached to uniforms.

The first one is black wool (Panzer?)

or Waffen-SS

the next three seem to be "tropical", 2 in HBT

the 1st one maybee, the other 2 are for the fatigue work / training uniform

the first on the second row is a very dark green wool

M36 tunic

the next three are green-grey HBT (one maker marked F&G)

for summer HBT uniforms

and the remaining 4 are green-grey coarser wool.

Tunic M40 and later types
