    Army M-44 Tunic Today

Here is one that came in mail today which I'm very excited to add to my collection. IMO, it appears to be an untouched, honest example. With my focus on documents, it's been years since I've had an M-44 in my collection, so I certainly welcome any opinions.

    Regards,
    John Donovan

Note three different types of lining material.

I remember when no one really wanted a M-44 tunic and they were hard to sell, some collectors would say that they were just half of a M-43.

Now they seem to be the most desirable of all the patterns of Heer tunics.

                    Looks very nice.

                      Great looking M-44!

100% in every way with just the right feel to it.

I would have not expected you to purchase anything else for your collection Infanterie-Sammler.

                        Congratulations

I do not like them, but as I collect uniforms I have one contructed on Russianstuff cloth. I may get one in "german wool" in the future even though I do not like them

Glenn, it's funny to hear you say that. With my focus on "The Western Front" and "Italian Campaign", I'm more drawn to mid-late war stuff so this is a natural fit for my collection.<O</O

I'm always interested in the wide-variation of wool used in later war tunics. Wondering if anyone can comment on this style? To me, it seems to be more the grey/green version of Feldgrau '44.<O</O

                            Great looking '44.
I love this color wool too.
                            Congrats on the addition!
