          Hi Alexandre,
In my opinion, I like it! I believe this to be an original cufftitle.
          Thank you,
          Curtiss

I agree, no doubt, it is a super nice exampel of a rare cufftitle

It is not the standard pattern usually seen.
I do, however, think that it is an original piece,
the first one I have ever seen in this configuration.

It's not original- it is 100% aged fake- you will never ever find a genuine 3rd reich period cuff with that synthetc backing material- there are many details also different from originals

This is absolutely not an original cufftitle. Fake 100%.

The bias material on the back of the cuff band is actually made of a kind of cellulose, pressed paper. I have not seen that in Wartime cuff bands.

In over 40 years of collecting I can recall only ever coming across 8 to 10 pics showing this title in wear. Which is weird as the order authorizing it for wear came out November, 1943! On the other hand I've seen enough "supposedly" original List cuffs over the same number of decades to outfit a reinforced company.

The black backing material appears to be polyester. This is not correct at all and the title is a post war creation.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

Note also the "puff" of the soutache material where it has frayed. It looks like a synthetic material to me like polyester etc. and as noted the bias material also looks synthetic.

Looks like an aged older fake made like post War FJ CTs. Text book originals are much darker green. Like this one-

There is a chance it was made for Vets after the War like many other CTs.
