    Artillery Dress Tunic on Estand

    Hello All,

The tunic on estand IMO is a very nice one. But I do have concerns about the shoulder boards. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

I thought the same... They look reattached? Very crude sewing which secure the boards and close the seams. Steve

          I agree. Definitely not untouched.

In such cases would it be valid to allow the possibility of it being done by the original owner himself...like a promotion?

I don't see a LTC doing it himself. I tend to think a tailor would have done a nicer job. I'd err on the side of caution and say they are likly replaced by a collector post war as that dimpling at the seam would never make it out of a professional shop.
