Odd metal ciphers on Artillery boards

Just picked up this pair of should boards.

Slip on ciphers have metal Fo 41 sewn on to them.

Most of the reference material does not list the "Fo" as a authorized cipher for any unit.
I thought they might be associated with some of the fortress commands, but this is just speculation at this time.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

straps

From just these few images the straps do not look to be originals and I would suspect the "Fo 41"s as well.

I agree with Gary.
Straps are not original pre-1945 mfg.
The "Cyphers" are either not German WWII either.
I would not want them in my collection.

I can't comment on the straps, but I don't think the slides are German in origin.
