    M44 Feldbluse

I d like to share this Feldbluse 44.
It is a middle back seam. The most impressing parameter is the killer size. Have a look at it.

                  Hello,

The collar tabs appear to me as 2 singles and not a pair.

I can't help but get a funny feeling when I see that wool and lining fabric. They kind of scream "swedish!!" to me. Is the wool really as grey as it appears to be in the pictures? With little to no hints of green and/or brown?

What is actually funny is that I expecpted some specalists would bring the "swedish sword" because of the back seam....
just the type of wool and it s poor quality makes sure it is no swedish converted crap.

It doesn't look like crap, the cut, overall shape and sewing looks spot-on.
It's just the wool and lining fabric that makes me suspicious. I mainly know that light cotton-twill lining fabric from swedish uniforms from the 40s and 50s and I also know that the wool they used looks really similar to late war german wool, just the color is different.

I just dig through my miscellaneous box, pulled out those swedish trousers and made a photo for comparison:

So has anyone ever seen another M44 tunic with similar lining fabric?
I'm not trying to be a party pooper but in my eyes this tunic could as well have been made from a disassembled 40s/50s swedish overcoat, one of those could yield enough fabric for a M44 tunic if you don't mind a back-seam.

                        EDIT:
I just remembered why I'm so hung up on this tunic, I've seen it on here before and it also bugged me back then but I let it go as everybody passed it off as good. Here is the thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=426740

                          I think it's a good one!

Fuhrmann, I don't believe the jacket is the same one from the thread you posted. Similar, the material is the same.. but the insignia are all different.

It is if compare the stamps:

Especially notice the green thread in the middle.

Browsing through my references folder I also found a picture of the stamps in another M44 tunic that are really similar to the ones shown above:

It has the RBNr. 0/0769/0015 while the tunic from this thread has the RBNr. 0/0769/0092 -> http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=427678.
