Thats why they have 4 segments.

They are not breast eagles which have 5 segments.
    +1 Agree

Really need more photos to tell what this jacket is ? a standard tropical tunic modified, tailor made or fake ?

Eagle itself could be ok as Fred mentions the four feather freak, but don't think it was there during the war....

      Interesting thread

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

This whole set appears put together. I've yet to see an original breast eagle with this feather configuration as well as setting on the breast.
        NOT German tropical boots.
I think some research is in order, sir. Marcin (Anmarlodz) does know what he's talking about.
        Regards,
        Mark.

Those angle cut corners on the top pockets are not seen..that I know off...in first pattern DAK tropical tunics, where I do see them most are in the Kriegsmarine tropical jackets and in the Luftwaffe tropical jacket, the last one have a compleatly different pocket flaps design, stright cut making it even a more specific Luft. design.

Could this be a reworked KM tunic?..think could be and in my very personal opinion and view a post war fabrication to give it some "unique" specialty/rare item aura.

Here is it again ( the same dismissivel tone of your comment ). If you are SO truly sure about orginality of everything in this particular jacket/set ( a sbeing 100% period legit and everything being 100% german made ) than why you ever bother to ask for opinions. I will never understand people like you .

ashamed ? You can not tell a tropical breast Eagle from a cap Eagle ?

                    Look forwards to more photos...
