unusual button hole sewing on M44 shoulder board

Hi guys,

I recently acquired this artillery M44 board and would like to hear your opinion about the button hole sewing. I own several boards with the usual sewing and also some other with a flat "shirt" button hole but that's the first I see with that type.

Already seen on late war tunics , no problem for me !
