Army trousers?

Hi Guys,

I was hoping someone could help me out with these, they appear old but I'm not sure if German or WW2?

They have no stamps or tailor label so I am guessing if anything private purchase. The buttons are very thin pressed steel, 2 side pockets and buttons for suspenders front and back.

Any help greatly appreciated.

They look like USMC trousers from World War II

The first pictures you posted really looked like USMC colored wool. These could be Swiss or German. Hard to say.

Thanks Diane, I have seen the cream coloured cotton lining on some wartime German trousers- anyone else have any idea on these?
