    Three Pairs of Veterinarian Shoulder Straps

    These are kind of neat shoulder strap pairs, three of them all the same size and same construction. Down to the thread coloring and button holes. Hard to tell from the photos but they are indeed Veterinarian Piped. (Definitely not Pink or Red).
    Must have been made by same factory.

        Wasn't there an enlisted General Staff role? There were other purposes for carmine EM straps, but I forgot what they were.

            Soldiers and officers assigned to OKH/OKW wore carmine piped boards as well but it is most likely these are for a veterinary NCO. Like Medical, most the soldiers in support elements of the units, they did not wear the branch device.

              it´s Artillery. Once I bought a Visor with same Colour. Thought it could be something interesting but inside I found the Stamp of a Artillery Regiment.

                Humm...
                It's always difficult to identify certain waffenfarben from a photo...
                That said, I would agree with Jerry about them being "veterinary" or staff...
                Also, I have every confidence in Jerry's ability to identify them as such;
                since he has them, he can identify the waffenfarbe first hand, not to mention his expertise regarding waffenfarbe!

                  Thanks Chris. Yes i can confirm they are indeed Vet or General staff, not artillery.

                    This is a carmine set from a man who was a Pioniere in GD but was assigned temporarily to OKH as a driver in 1939. These came indirectly from the man's family and the seller had been told he was a driver etc.

                      Nice Set!
                      The tabs are exceedingly rare!

                        A Waffenfarbe which is very difficult to photograph and to identify on a screen. Trust the guy who has the items in hand, he can judge best.

                        Here is my Lw Felddivision EM veterinary set.

                            Those are rare indeed but also could be for a LW soldier assigned to OKH/OKW.

                              No, this personnel retained its original Waffenfarbe. The Karmesinrot was only for veterinary troops as well as General staff officers from Hauptmann to Oberst.
