Drawstings in my pair were made from webbing not stitched parts of Tello 29 fabric:

All pairs of these overall pants (pairs I know) were tailored from one variation of Italian camo cloth. I call it "cartographic pattern" due to Italian pennisula shaped on the print: - below two prints, first from the top "bubble" and next "cartographic pattern"

I had a lot of luck, my pair has not seen a lot of action and was stored properly. All drawstings were present and full lenght. Interior is clean, no holes or stains:

I like the pants but am confused about the RBN. If the pants were made to German military specifications for general military issue why no dates and sizes. Of course if a unit contracted directly with a manufacturer that had a RBN maybe the firm decided to stamp it. Firms that produced personal items were also issued RBNs but they were rarely used, but I have seen packets of foot powder with RBNs, and company receipts with RBNs but nothing on their products.

Awesome find. Great pants but I love the other stuff. The pictures are really great too. With the family connection we can see that these men were humans too. They had family and friends that they did not come home to. The human aspect to these items make them more valuable. Good find.
