simple question on shoulter boards....

Hi, is there any difference between the lieutenant shoulder boards army (Artillerie/Wh) and Luftwaffe (Flak/Lw) or is it all the same?

LW are shiny, Army are matt finish,Army parade dress are shiny

The rule of thumb that I go by is pretty much what jmcm said. Shiny is luft and matt are army. Shiny sew in boards can also be army for the dress uniform. Shiny slip-on boards are luft to me.
