Yes I knew the Canadian soldier quite well. I have been working on getting this haul for years along with the amazing photo album and other items. He died probably about 15 years ago.

MM is the abbreviation for Military Medal.

I remember seeing this picture published years ago.Very cool pic.What other items did he bring home? is this a case where the family knows the value or just sentimental and they do not want to sell ?
I know from my own experience, from doing hotel buys , that sooner or later someone in that family will sell the items.
