    My first uniform-piece of 2005...

    Hello to all

Got this large mid-war greatcoat in. It is named to a certain Gefreiter Fratzke.
These are harder to get today, especially in this condition.

Anyone else who would like to share their 2005-purchase(s) so far?

    Cheers

    Jan

John, thanks mate! yep these are still underestimated indeed, like hbt-garments...but they are great for combat-displays!

                          re

Not a greatcoat or a combat-tunic,but IMO a rare eagle
If someone knows wich branch it is please let me know
Yes Iknow this eagle is also pictured in the book afrika-korps
But if someone have some further information i would be thankfull

                            Glenn,

did this come from sunny California?

I agonised (for purely financial reasons) over this for a while, but couldn't justify the expenditure at the moment.
The subdued tresse is fantastic, as is the tunic

Glad it went to a forum member,

                            congratulations!

                            Patrick.

PS. Jan, didn't you have one of these earlier last year? Nice pick up.
I'm sure you have one of your M42 helmets picked out for it as we speak.

                              Patrick,
Good eye and thanks for the kind words(and the others) I got into it in part trade so it was a bit cheaper for me to buy. It's hard to come up with the cash for this stuff all the time
