    One of a kind grouping...

    I am very happy to have had the opportunity to examine this Group to Rudolf Struckmann. As we know untouched RK tunics does not grow on trees, this grouping is really one of the best ive seen.

    If you have your ways by Stockholm, you should see it at Military Antiques Stockholm.

    No resewn eagles, no messed with tunics....it was really a joy to see a grouping coming out in the light after 72 years...almost like a timemachine.

    It really deserves an own thread, This guy got his RK an Afrika and was KIA close to Cassino.

          In the Grouping was also his Fathers tunic.....he commanded a POW camp.

          It is HUGE, he must have weight a bit :-)

                Very nice, beautiful set. Interesting that in 2 identical wartime photos there's one with the German Cross and one without.
                They must have added that later somehow..

                    The piped walking out tunics are beautiful. Is he from Pz. Gren. Rgt. 115?


                    It is nowhere near as regal a grouping as this; but, years ago, I got a tunic for Pz Jag. Abt. 3 officer. He had served in Afrika with Pz. Jaeger Abt. 605 in Afrika. I beiieve he was part of the Kompanie equipped with the 5t halftracks "Dinahs(?) This was a halftrack with closed sides and a 7.62(R) antitank gun on the back.

                    On a note of irony, his father was a WWI veteran and POW camp commander.
