M44 jacket : breast eagle application question

Hi All,

On most of the M44 jackets I've seen, the trapezoid breast eagle was sewn above the left chest pocket ( when looking at the jacket) and sometimes the lower tip of the trapezoid dissapears underneath the upper rim of the breast pocket.

But have you ever seen jackets or pictures of them in wear where this lower tip is sewn ON the upper rim of the breast pocket ?

If so would you please be so kind to post them here ??

Hi Werner, there are people on here far more knowledgeable on this subject than I. However, I've looked at quite a few and I don't ever recall seeing this. On some printed eagles I have noticed that they appear to go under the pocket a little, but actually on closer inspection the bottom of the badge is just folded a little to have this effect.
