Agree with all the previous comments. Super display. Even more happy to see a young collector getting started. Now go out and recruit some of your buddies and get them interested and educated on this history and memorabilia.. We need more young people like you

Thank you very much for the kind words! It seems to be that most of my peers have very little interest history, which I attribute to the fact that the only history they have been exposed to is in a classroom setting. I feel that some kids would enjoy collecting (who wouldn't want to own a piece of history??) , but don't due to some unfortunate side effects of collecting (especially at a younger age), such as being labeled a sympathizer.

                E-stand

I saw this for sale on the estand and had to click the link and read the discussion. First, let me say that I will echo all of the great comments on this thread. It's a gorgeous tunic, great set-up with nice gear, k98, etc. Second, it is encouraging to hear of a young budding collector in his teens. Pretty awesome. I myself started in my teens and am now 42.

All of that being said, I'm bummed that you have to sell it after only having it about a month.

However, and I mean no disrespect, but I think your asking price of $3200.00 is on the extreme high end of high! Most folks do not like to discuss price on the discussion forum, but I have to ask for others' opinions. It's obvious that a piece's monetary value is up to the individual collector and how bad said collector desires the piece, but IMO you're at least $1300-$1600 high.

I can speculate that my post won't be a popular one, but after all, we're all hear to voice our opinions ... I'm just wondering if others think I'm "smoking crack" with my opinion.

                Respectfully,
                Dan

Yes... I also notice that the price is... Hmmm...... Veery big.. And it is triple than value of this jacket is. I don't know how much did you pay for it but I do not think that was more than 2k USD. Maybe you want to earn easy money. But sorry 3k USD is a price for Panzer Wrap not for a standard heer M43 with a pair of pioneer shoulder boards.

I also think that jacket is great but IMO reasonable value of it is 1200 USD maximum.

That's unfortunate, I think I over payed by a little. This is the price that I had in mind when originally looking for a tunic, but as I'd never seen this type of tunic (ie condition and color) I figured a slightly higher price tag was warranted. I'll probably just remove the estand post if that's all its worth.

Yes,maybe for a stripped wrapper but then you have to find the collar tabs, eagle and shoulder straps which will cost $1500 or more (if you can find them) Then you have a wrapper that is messed with.

The purist collectors want wrappers with the original factory sewn insignia and they are not $3000.

Yes, but You must admit that 3,3k usd for m43 with matching straps, even it is in perfect condition isn't a bargain price...

I have actually seen a few sell for more but the eagles were without question originally sewn.

This M43 would never sell for that.
