Cavalry Major Grouping on Collectors Guild

Just an FYI. On the recent Collectors Guild update there is a grouping to a Cavalry Major which I once owned.

    The grouping DID NOT include:
    His Brief Case
    Belt

And the 1914 EKII was included with my sale but was specified not to have belonged to him.

I'll send a quick note to Peter also.

    Cheers,

    A.

For that price you should get his staff car with it too.

95% of his inventory is way way overpriced but this one is truly ridiculous.

Here is the original grouping as I bought it and sold it:

The consignors set the prices but he also charges a commission so it is added on as well. I just bought a tunic that was on there for a year at 1500 some dollars that did not sell for about 675 dollars. They will never get those "2008" bubble prices anymore.

Isn't that an SA belt as well?

The are wore the brown belts early on, after the War started regulations called for them to be blackened but many people did not do this, especially older officers.

Yes but, as far as I know, it was a narrower belt and squarer buckle.
                    Regards,

Either I completely missed it or Peter pulled it already.

I don't really care what they're trying to sell it for but padding extra items into the grouping is deceptive (though par for the hobby).

It should be very easy to find the fraudster...

Adam holds the key to it.
