Hi Øyvind, it is possible I suppose but it is not regulation wear. So really the answer is "no". They would have been feldgrau.

A lot of these "100" Panzer slip on's were found about 15 years ago. I have a pair which came out of a well known British authors collection.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for the answer Adrian! Yep, there are alot of these out in the open marked, and they cost next to nothing!

Silly question Adrian, but the boards that I have, is it just ment for us by the "pz.kncakers"? (cant remember the english name for this type of unit right now)

      Cheers

Hi Øyvind, yes these straps could be worn by Panzerjager.

Rosa pink waffenfarbe was worn by many different units at different times, but usually with the addition of a shoulder strap device. Here is a quick list:

        General Armoured Commands
        Panzer Div staff
        Rifle Brigade staff
        Panzer
        Panzerjager
        Armoured Trains
        Motorcycle units
        Panzer Lehr
        Panzer schools
        Army school of Motoring
        Motor maintainance troops

        Cheers, Ade.

Did not know there were that many units using the pink piping!

            Anomalies

Here is an example of things in reverse. These Panzertruppen wear field grey slides on their black wrappers. Look at the use of a metal eagle on the M-43. Though a mid-war picture, three of the soldiers wear early black wrappers with piped collars. It's amazing the non-regulation oddities that pop-up in insignia and period photos.

              Hello again!
What is a fair price for such a pair? (with the slip on)

              Ps: Great photo!

              Cheers
