        Thanks Bill,

I just have a few K98,s but not one with a scope. I hope to get a K/G43 with scope one of these days but our gun laws are now very difficult.

Hello Glenn. What a great looking setup you've put together! Where do you guys find these great mannequins? All I've been able to find are these punkish looking frat boys with no expression other then "look at me".

Mine came from Sears; originally made in the UK in the 70s. They got rid of him when the respectable gentleman look was replaced with the punkish fratboy look.

Incredible displays everyone! It inspired me to post mine. Hey Glenn, it's great to see Matt's helmet and camo net found a nice home!

                        Hoodless Smock

                        Hi John

Good eyes! This one does NOT have a hood, nor has it been modified. It is identical to the period photo (of a captured hoodless smock) found in the final chapter on alternate camo patterns in Mike Beaver's first book on WSS camo (I do not recall the page number and I am work right now ).

                        The smock is RBN numbered.

Thanks Jim for the comment on the MP44 pouches. They are still attached together with a web support strap along the back to keep them steady. They are also dated 1944. Can show close ups if any one is interested on another thread. BTW, your early pattern smock is exceptionally cool!!!

                            John,

I for one would love to see some close ups of your pouches. One day I might got lucky enough to find an original set!

Actually my smock is the Sumpfmuster style like yours.Just in the harder to find grey/green color vs the more common tan color.Jim

So you've got the pants to match my smock. I know smocks in this pattern are rare, but the pants have to be impossible to find! Jim
