Any reasons? I cannot find a repro like it... It only seems to resemble some of the authentic ones found on here?

IMO ,,?Odd head and body shape.. Mounted on a strange material,
probably to hide the most obvious tells..

            Hello,

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=344867

Post #10 is the same eagle. Post #33 and #34 show a comparison with this pattern of eagle to an original flatwire.

The major tells on the front are the shape of the head, and shoulders, width of the chest, legs and wing length.

The major tell on the back is the sawtooth pattern on the fold line above the eagles wing. These are usually mounted on a cloth backing to cover the rear "tell" because it is a good reproduction.
