I have had one of these for years but no one can seem to tell me what it is? I got it along with some other original insignia in a lot.

What you've got there are sport shirt eagles for the Deutsches Reichspost. The insignia should measure ~120mm across.

you're quite right on the measurements, thanks for the info...
...now I'll try to get hold of the WHOLE REEL the seller had!

To be honest, I don't really know what these are going for as I haven't priced one in probably 15 years. Back then they were about $40 or so. While pretty scarce, I would not consider them highly sought after so they're probably not much north of there now.
