Werkschutz factory protection. I have seen other emblems on identical collar tabs. Sorry, I do not know which company the emblem represents.

Quick guess would be a factory fireman with that being the Company logo.

      Could be wrong

Definitively a Werkschutz tab from the CZ plant.

I am not familiar with Werkschutz factory insignia. How rare are they? Does anyone have a photograph showing such insignia being worn. Did the Germans publish any sort of book on these civilian units? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is the logo for Česká zbrojovka, a company which manufactured small arms before, during and after the war. It still exists today. My question is, did the Germans let it continue to use the same Czech name during the war? They usually translated most everything into German during the occupation, though I suppose they could have made an exception, especially if the guards were still Czech.

Under German stewardship some of their weapons were marked "BOHMISCHE WAFFENFABRIK A.G. IN PRAG".

                      Bob:

In regard to the other collar insignia you have seen, were the same colors used? Do you by chance have photos if these other collar tabs? Thank you.

This is very similar tab - Dornier/Germany:

Photo of Czech officials of Ceska Zbrojovka from 4 October 1939 (the occupation of Czechoslovakia was in mid-March 1939) and next photo from 1945 = the same logo of Ceska Zbrojovka.

That definitely answers my question of whether or not they used the logo in WW2. Nice work bubble!
