Reference Janke , all my research pics are on my 2 , almost dead,laptops . We are fortunate that Nick had retained the original pics i sent to him .I do intend to transfer all my pics from those laptops but due to cost ,fixing the laptops isnt a priority at present.To be honest , period pics are my main starting point for any research task. I do have more that arent as definitive as the ones posted here but do add weight.

Plenty of threads with Jankes in them on here. .Just use the search engine.

There was an excellent thread on here with Janke cuffsplits and comparisons but all the pics were deleted .Plenty of accompanying text left but no pics.

Most i have seen, were at least a 3rd wider than an original german cuff split and appear very chunky.
They may of improved and made them slimmer but many around are obvious.

Pictures from that thread..some thinking the cut of was a Janke repro tunic piece because of the "problematic" rectangular shape...
the stitching lacked the taper that most people are more comfortable with...(back in 2010)

Perhaps this shape was also often more prevalent with SS made garments as the stitching was easier and faster to accomplish...(using forced labor pool...SS Industrie)

The last 2 sleeves shown here by NickG were said in that older thread to be fakes (but the Prinz Eugen cuff title was real).

Just to be sure I understand: Is it being said now that those sleeves are real?

Vet bring backs from NZ soldiers and real is my understanding. ...but shot done because of cuff concerns...
