    Vet Lot Army Breast Eagles

These came back together and I thought they are interesting. One bullion eagle is on a dark charcoal gray and may once have been a panzer officer that faded out. One enlisted eagle looks like the French pattern, but in thread instead of wire. I don't collect many eagles, so I though I would go through some of my old boxes and show the extras.

Bullion on gray backing. Any ideas of whether it was black or does dark green fade out to this color?

To me, it looks like the French made patterns.

Very nice..I would say the grey is faded black.

              Bob,

              Perhaps a Judiciary eagle?

                  Bob,

Great selection of eagles. I think Ron might be on to something about the first eagle. His head looks like it is turned the other way. I have a couple em eagles like the top right and that lower left is to die for.

Bob, I think the gray one may be Judicial or a diplomatic bird of some kind. Gray would make sense then.

The top right bird with green backing is a looker! I love the black thread highlights.. very nice attention to detail.. would be proud to have this one.

Here are a couple of other eagles on that same vein.
