Looks like a nice, original M42 with factory tabs and period tress! Normally this model tunic would have machine sewn eagles, though there were still some manufactures who did apply by hand. However, an in hand inspection would confirm my feelings, I suspect that this eagle was post war applied...Reason, the eagle is hand applied and it is not well settled into the wool.

The repaired spot on the front edge could be cleaned up quite a bit and made to be much less noticable.

Very nice combat tunic! Hard to say if the eagle is original on the tunic, but the denazified eagle makes me think it's been there forever, why replace an eagle like this.Comment
