Dak shoulder boards opinions please

Hi Can anybody tell me it the Afrikakorps shoulderboards are good or Bad.
I was told that they were original Late war tropical straps but I have a bad feeling about them.

If they are not tropical then this might be the intended purpose;

However I also raised the question, what did the shoulder straps for the tropical Kradmantels made from ersatz cotton duck rather than twill look look like ?

And they made very rare officer crusher visors in ersatz cotton duck for Kav/ Recon forces 9see link). That would explain the golden yellow piping;

However, also an easy fake shoulder board to make with the possibility golden yellow Kav/ Recon being able to command a premium price.

Material and piping are original,
atypical for sure, but I am not convinced this pair is a fake...
I have seen some years ago the same type (smooth cotton , without wool backing) with medical piping and NCO heer

Agree that the materials look period, have seen similar tongue lining on Luft. FD straps, but the construction does not appear period IMHO.
