Which uniforms on pictures?

Hi,

I got pictures of my great grand father.

Is it possible to say the exact model of the uniforms?
(at least maybe from the second photo, because at the first the pocket flaps are cut unfortunately)

The first uniform has a six button closure and appears to have the later darker color buttons and later model collar tabs so it is probably a Model 43. The second one is a Model 36 with dark green collar and a five button front closure.

He was enlisted I guess mid or late 1944.

Why did he get a M36?
The M36 looks heavily worn.

Based on the late shoulderboards the M36 could be a re-issued piece if he joined the wehrmacht in 1944.

In the first image you can see M44 shoulderstraps... which makes sense with his 1944 enlistment.
That helps dating the image!

Nick, that are also my thoughts with the M44 shoulder boards!
On the original picture you can see the sewing better!

The photo is dated with 1944 and later was corrected to 1945.

So I guess first he got the M36 and later the M43 tunic!?
Do you agree?
