    Spiess DKiG Tunic

Hi guys. Here is shown the other tunic that my friend has been offered. It comes from the sale dealer that offers the LC tunic.

I don't want to quote it as suspicious, but at least unknown for me. Unusual lower pockets for me. Loops would indicate a WW1 Ek1 + 1st Class Spange, but tunic comes with a WW2 Ek2 ribbon...
Lets see what WAF tunic experts say.
    Regards
    Pedro.

I think the loops are fine for EK2 ribbon.
They are probably for EK1, IAB, WOund badge and DRL sport badge.

That DK is more of a worry.

I am aware that there are several types of DKiG.. but when compared to others, I don`t like this one... The thread doesn't match with other examples IMO

Nothing unusual with those lower pockets for a piped rock cut.

            Hi.
The DK is a very complicated piece, but the most important in uniform.
            regards

Well you can't tell a damn thing from these terrible photos. Need clear shots of the DKIG , how it's sewn, breast eagle, shots of inside of tunic and better shots of the outside of the tunic as well. It's meant to be an early tunic seen in the transition of the Weimar Republic to the TR which is an era that not many people collect. Could be a great tunic but I wouldn't spend any money without some much better pics. Matt

Just received another pic of the DKiG.
Lets hope it helps a little bit, althoug I don't feel comfortable with it.

It Looks better now, but it is almost like someone took off the wreath and washed the tunic causing the thread to loose its color and the swaz too.
                  Maybe.........

Hello, I've been comparing pictures of fakes and originals. And this DKiG is more like the original than a fake. But I donĀ“t know if it is genuine or fake. I do not know much about DKiG.
                    Sorry for my bad english.
                    regards
