Medic Armband

I am looking for information regarding this armband. I have not ever seen one and I have not found much information on the web. I collect US medic items for WW2. I do not know any of the history behind it since it came to my table at a show. Real or Repro? Who would have used it? Medic or Doctor? Rare or not rare? Best guess at value? Any good resources for additional information.

Hi,

These armbands were used by medics, stretcherbearers and doctors.

The needed to have a unit-stamp to be used and the wearer needed an authorization to wear it (and to keep on him when in use). See picture.

This armband looks authentic, I cannot read the stamp, though.

They are not rare, price somewhere between 30 and 50 euro depending on the stamp.
