    Collectors located in Texas

Are there any collectors that live in the Houston, Texas area? I have a couple of items I'd like someone to look at.

Born, raised and still residing in Sugar Land TX. I work for a investment company in the financial tower of the Galleria and visit Katy quite often. If these are an area you're located around I'd be happy to help, granted it's in a field of my expertise. The majority of my collection is focused on black SS uniforms but I do have a few Heer examples. Feel free to pm me if you'd like.

I'm in the Beaumont area. I have an Afrika Korps cuff title, an infantry assault badge and a panzer assault badge that I'd like examined by someone hands on. I bought the CT as a replica, but have had three collectors tell me it's real based on photographs. The assault badges I bought from an antiques dealer as originals and would like to confirm that they are.

Why not post the photos here? I am quite confident that the members here will be able to tell if they are original,or not.

I don't have photo posting privileges. I haven't paid the $25 membership fee yet.

That's quite a way from the Houston area. I visit the L'auberge casino in Lake Charles once a month or so but only drive through Beaumont, never stop there. Maybe another forum member actually lives in Beaumont or Orange or even Vidor....which wouldn't shock me, though they'd probably not anyone I'd want to associate myself with.

                  IMO a good original one.
I bought me too some months ago an AK CT as repro, and some years ago 6 AH silverware piece for 150$ each... Sometimes it happens a lucky strike.
On contrary there are tons of items sold as "original" that are fakes...
If you know what you buy no need to hear "good" or "fake" from others and no need to hear stories like we hear everyday.

                  My books:

                  - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
                  - THE SS TK RING
                  - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
                  - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
                  - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

                  and more!

Thats a damn good looking cuff title right there I can't help it Tim I just really like this style I don't think you can ever have too many of them. I think we should just refer to it in all collector books as "Matt's Fav"... gotta leave a legacy and what not. Matt

Many thanks to everyone for their kind responses and especially to Tim for posting the pics for me. Guys, please forgive my skepticism, this kind of luck usually eludes me ( seemingly on purpose )
I will treasure this relic as my first AK collectable. Onward, and up ward. Breast Eagle, next...

I'm in the little known suburb of Houston called Dallas.

Great looking cuff, by the way!

Hi, Jeremy. The only reason I mentioned Houston is that I'm only about an hour and half away. I certainly wasn't trying to exclude my fellow Texans from our Northern frontier.
