Mystery solved. Good work deciphering the name tag! I also thought the medical blue was a little bit on the light side...
but with the 1942 dated tailor tag I thought it would be too early for TSD....a late war branch...
Therefor we can now conclude that he was in the Heeresverwaltung as a Paymaster in 1942 when the uniform was made (with admin green farbe)
and in 1944 per the regulations he switched his insignia to the new TSD Truppen Sonderdienst blue farbe (often mistaken for medical by collectors)
Fortunately the holes for the medical cypher can be used for the TSD cypher, Riddle solved!

It's always nice when all the peices come together.
Chances are that a collector, with all good intentions, misread the Sutterlin as "Stabsarzt Dr. ..." and misidentified the shade of blue, thus restoring it incorrectly by adding the meical devices to the already present holes in the boards.

Thanks for the help all of you, as soon as the new and correct auflage will get here, I will post new pictures of the correct set-up.

And I am quite pleased; the tunic is now named with solid provenance which it was not before.

                  Nice!
This tailor was most known for his Forestry uniforms! He specialized in "Wald" tunics as the tag reads and as I commented in an earlier post.
TSD = Truppen Sonderdienst. A branch that was created in 1944 for specialists in service of the army and many administrative staff transferred from HV
(Heeres Verwaltung) to TSD because of their technical expertise...swapping their admin green waffen farbe for this new blue one.

Thank you so much! I was very worried I was gonna meet some kind of animosity due to my lack of knowledge. Very informative and super cool! Thanks Nick!

To add to what was stated below, the TSD was created to make up for a shortage of regular officers. Remember that Administrative Officials were not considered to be military, despite the fact they wore military uniforms and medals. Think of the Officials as uniformed GS workers. Their ranks were only for pay purposes and had no command authority.

When the TSD was established, volunteers who wanted the better pay and status as regular military officers were transferred over and became TSD. This option was only open to certain administrative career fields and levels, and the typical physical and age requirements applied.
