What is this DAK patch?

It is for a Luftwaffe 'Meyer' cap or tropical visor cap. Not sure if the badge is good or bad but I'm sure that a Luftwaffe collector may be able to help there.

Yes,it is a BEVO cockarde used on Meyer caps,this one was used on a later cap and was maschine straight stitched....looks good from the pic

Goes on a hat like this, only was not folded and hand sewn like this one, but straight machine sewn as Gustav stated. Agree that it looks good so far, a better detailed photo would help.
