It looks sewn together from pieces with a visible seam on the outside.

Collars wear out and the wear occurs on the inside where a repair does not need to be an exact matching shade of green as it is not visible, not an esthetic repair,so why worry??? No reason for concerns for me!
It would be a field grade / field use uniform, so wear (and subsequent repair) can be expected!
The Dutch summer/Colonial material btw is a mottled twill cotton is called "Garoet stof".
I have an original Colonial Dutch uniform in unaltered condition.
