I would want to know the opinion from you guys about these marks made in this style.
I saw them in a lot of Heer and Luftwaffe trousers offered for sale especially on ebay.
For me aren't the correct style for marks present in original WW2 trousers.

IMO this is the correct style of the marks that I would want always to see in original german trousers WW2.

I did buy them from a reputable dealer as original?

These are M43 repro pants. The marking size stamps are a fantasy. The buttons and a part of the lining seems to be made with original materials, but the fabric ant the stichings are not correct for a late war item.
IMO you should sent them back.

I bought these from Gerard Stezelberger of Relic Hunter and I asked him about returning and this is what he said. I did pay $800.00 for them. Great guy!

Hey Gerard, I bought these pants from you at the last max show and just put them on the WAF and they all say bad will you do anything about it? Joe http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=826353

Jim, sorry to hear that, but I have ended my military business and no longer deal in the stuff, only selling off what remains. My apologies.

If he do not refund to you the money try to make you change the pants with another original object.

Out the window if the business closed (it usually means the lifetime of the business, not the owner)

$800 would have been a bargain price,if they were unissued original M-43's..
