Commissioned Officer' signals or Construction engineers litzen ?

Hi,

Are those Commissioned Officer' signals or Construction engineers litzen ?
The light brown was used until 1937 by signals and then by Construction engineers until 1942.
I know the light brown was also used pre 1940 by teaching staff (non-technical) at military academies.

Polizei Verwaltung (Police administrative branch) to me! (stained light gray/off white)
Card board stiffeners are also more prevalent with civil insignia, including polizei and zoll/customs..
(but not always!)

That or very dirty Infantry. The backs look grey, the front looks more like stained infantry.

In the images you posted the colors I see are a mushroom grey in the first one and a heavily stained white color in the second. These show the light brown that you are speaking of-

I agree wholeheartedly with Johnny...NOTHING cinnamon or light brown or copper color shown,
just dirty gray Polizei admin. tabs like the ones on Weitze...
