EM Shoulder Straps - real???

A friend of mine sent me these straps, claiming they are classic originals. Are they?

To me there is "classic" title for a simple mid-war style strap but it looks original. The bottom thread on both parts is unusually loose and there must have been a problem with the tension on the bobbin. Or sabotage!!!

I don't like the piping.

imo there are ok. But indeed, the piping looks a little bit odd on these fotos. Better one can help.
Unusual is the one-piece contruction.
