Opinions needed on this Panzer wrap

Hello gentleman,

I was recently offered this wrap, and know close to nothing on the subject. The gentleman offering it to me states that it is a tailor made example that he got in Germany in the 80's. Any help is greatly appreciated.

its so strange that it just could be real. At least the skulls are original.

1944. They don't get much later than that. The lining is probably making use of what was available at the time, which wasn't very much. The tabs. eagle and shoulderboards look right, as does the construction. It might have been made in an occupied country as well. The construction and markings appear correct to my eye..
