    Shoulderboards with strange insigniA..?.

    hEY aLL,

    These boards are for sale on ebay - they look like somehting for a musician, and definately no TR insignia I have ever seen.

    Look like medical boards that someone put older civilian band insignia on. It is not exactly a Clef but close. That would be my guess.

      Johnny, I agree, and again a nice pair of boards have to be mingled with just for the wish to get more money. And the basic boards even looks very nice. Shame.

        Many times the original numbers and devices were removed and the holes remain. People did not really know what was on there and just put whatever they found. During the War, some of the Allied soldiers, especially the Soviets, thought officers devices were made of gold and removed them from POWs and loose items. I imagine some German civilians also thought this after the war and took things off insignia.

          Or simply original boards reused in a musician or Karnaval band !
          You can see many pieces just adapted for that use , caps , buttons ...
