            Hello gents,
may I ask you for your opinion on this blouse?
IMO it looks not bad, but your comments will help me.
            Thank you

Nice Austrian tailored (Vienna) officers tunic, albeit stripped.
The Austro- Hungarian style tailoring is evident with the pocket flaps design!
Wide spacing upper horizontal pocket seam + pointy batwing flaps.
Good restoration project, especially since its named so perhaps the rank and branch can be identified as a guide
to bring it back to its original condition!!

Post a clear picture of the name tag. That is always the best clue as to what it was.

Is it exceptionally faded, or is that just the photography?

So the rank is "Lt". The date looks like 18/Xii/38 ? That name probably can be figured out or at least part of it. It is a first name followed by his last name. Probably a tunic made shortly after the Anschluss for an Austrian officer assimilated in the the WH. It has a six button front but follows an Austrian style and contrary to most collector assertions, 6 button front tailor made tunics were made before 1941.
