Yes early...1930's Reichswehr troops in fatigues...
Here is another image from early 30's...., note similar cap insignia...but slightly different headgear (lacking visors)...so even earlier! (look like WW1 soldiers)
Without visor on the cap its called a "Knautschmütze" if I am not mistaken 1920's (WW1 enlisted style...) and with added visor (see surviving example photocredit warrelics)
its a RW pattern feldmutze early 1930'sLast edited by NickG; 09-03-2015, 12:13 PM.

Transitional RW-Heer examples: these 2 images (photocredit HPL2008 on warrelics)!
Note Heer breast eagles, now on tunic (only), not on the feldmutze!
Early M34 tunics, (predating the M36 with bottle green collars!) M34's basically look like M40's but have skeletal liners!
One man has RW style sharpshooter bars on the cuffs (later replaced with lanyards during TR period)...
This early stuff is mostly discussed in the Freikorps / Weimar Period Forum (1918-1933) ...but below images are early TR!
and show in interesting mix during this transitional period! (note long barreled WW1 type Gewehr 98)Last edited by NickG; 09-03-2015, 12:25 PM.
