    Nebel NCO boards opinions please

    Hi Guys

    I have these straps for sale on the estand which came out of a vet estate so I am pretty confident there is no issue with them. An interested member would like some opinions as to the originality or otherwise of them please.

    All comments much appreciated

    Many thanks

    Patrick

      I believe they are an original private purchase pair.

        I agree;
        Smoke Troops straps are not at all common but everyone seems to want the "Textbook" (I hate that term!):
        M36 (dark green w/ wool or rayon piping) or M40 (Field gray w/ rayon
        & sometimes wool piping)
        Yours have the HBT cord piping which is not popular.
        Finally, the tongue is simply a strip on cloth; some believe these were added
        to straps that were originally meant to be sew ins. They're sometimes called
        "Mobilization straps" since they were "modified" to slip ons for field service tunics.
        Real straps in an uncommon waffenfarbe made in an unpopular configuration.

            I don't see signs of any modification...To me its just a tailor made quality private purchase variation with such straight tongues,
            ( usually otherwise found on officer straps , also privately tailored)
            I agree with member schulterklappen! Nice set!
