    Yes text book RAD with 6 buttons (as opposed to 5) and flapped hip pockets...(as opposed to open pockets...)
    I own it's twin with Der Spiess cuff rings.
    I have no doubt that some of those inventories could have found their way into armed forces use, as the demand grew and RAD downsized when hostilities started....Your example is from April 1939. Usually RAD gear has very obvious property stamps!

          Many/most of these were later used by the Armed services. There is no doubt about that.
