These listed as panzer gren (which obviously NOT) . Could they be the real but rare Kradschutzen ? Sorry no other pictures listed

It has potential, I would have bought it had the tongue not been cut off. Matt

It IS a real one; NOT Panzergrenadier, but for the GD Kradschutzen Btn.
I agree that it's quite rare, but with the tongue cut off, it's a pass for me.

Hey Matt! this is certainly something for you to consider!
I can't think of a RARER Kradschutzen strap!

              Dyed

I wonder if the embroidery is actual green thread or white dyed green?

                Chris,

I agree, not a rarer strap out there but not worth the price, 750 I would be all over it. A grand is just too much. Matt

                  Rare

                  Hello,

                  I have my doubts.
If this strap is original than it is an ultra rare early Kradschutzen.
                  But it is too expensive.

                  Regards,Thierry

                    strap

In the mid- to late 1970's the Cracked Pot in Buffalo, NY picked up a collection of GD straps which included a single green-piped strap like this and also an Uffz. orange-piped strap. I recall that the green of the GD embroidery was distinctly lighter than the piping and could be this particular strap. No problem on the originality.

I agree with Chris. Real strap and rare waffenfarbe for the GD. I have one exactly like this one but with the tongue, would have bought this one to make the pair but with the tongue cut can't do it.

                        Jerry,

Just sell your strap to me so you don't have to worry about finding a matching friend I'll send you photos of him with his buddies. Matt
